So you have decided to throw a surprise pea in the pod themed baby shower! Out of all baby showers, we think surprises are the most fun. The expectant mother knows that most likely, her friends will have a shower for her, but she is not sure when. We’ve known women to cry that they were unloved and no one was going to throw them a shower up until the moment they walked into the room and saw the assembled party comers.
We believe that if you can pull it off, a surprise baby shower is far and away the most fun. If you will be throwing a co-ed baby shower it might be slightly harder to keep the shower a secret, depending on your social rules.
Anyways, here are some ideas on pea in the pod baby shower games:
One way to have a great time is to play pass the produce game. In this version of the game, you buy twenty different product items, like a pea in a pod, a carrot, corn, broccoli, tomatoes, etc. To play, you need to seat players in a close circle with their hands behind their backs. Then set one item in player’s hand and ask them to feel it and then pass it on to the next player, and so on and so on around in a circle until everyone has held the item. When the first player has passed an item on, give her the next item to feel. Continue doing this until you have given the last item to the first player. When an item has made its way around the circle, take it and place it in a paper bag so it wont make it another round. When all the items have been felt, give the players paper and pens and ask them to write down the items in the order in which they were passed on to them
Award a bag of frozen peas to the person who gets the most correct answers and in the correct order.
